Once upon a time in the Republic of California there was a small chain of donut shops. These little donut shops were all very happy and pleased with themselves. Every day cops and people alike would sit down with warm donuts and black coffee, and munch away on the ever so pleased pastries.
Then one day, a very strange man and his very strange wife and even stranger friends found themselves travelling near this donut shop. One of them looked up at the sign, which proudly proclaimed Happy Donuts and frowned. "Why is it always Happy Donuts," she asked? "Why not sad donuts? Or perhaps annoyed donuts?"
Yes, perhaps Angry Donuts.
Let's be real here. The donuts aren't angry. Nor is the site.
The donuts, in fact, are very silly.
What the heck is this site here for then? That's actually a pretty good question. Merlin, the site's sole proprietor and God-Emperor, already has several websites that he can use to blog. But he wanted a place that he could blog about specific stuff. Stuff that isn't really all that appropriate for his LiveJournal blog, or his writing blog. Some place he could put things both professional and silly. The donuts get very angry about this. Or something.
The long and short of it is this: Here you'll find the ramblings and the articles of Earl Miles, who often goes by Merlin online, about coding and Drupal and other general nonsense. Really, that's it.
