Due to a bug in 1.1 I'm releasing 1.2 a couple of weeks sooner than I had expected to.

Views 1.2 for Drupal 4.7: http://drupal.org/files/projects/views-4.7.x-1.2.tar.gz

Bugs fixed:

  • 100109: Incorrect caching of 'is new' filter.
  • 99849: DISTINCT could break summary views.
  • 99783: Comment count didn't take into account pages. Also moved handler
    out of node where it didn't belong.
  • 100317: exported view gets improperly formed value fields on filters
  • 98441: Fixed 'optional' setting on exposed filters.
  • 98747: Fixed random filter that was broken in 1.1.
  • 100997: Clarified use of $arg in help text
  • 100769: Getting book parents didn't require parents to be current
  • 98492: Recent comments block needed to filter out moderated comments

    • New features:

    • 75635: views table offsets for views fusion module
    • 99225: CSS generator for views theme wizard
    • 88067: theme_view much more useful now.
    • 98492: Comment moderation status filter
    • 101025: Sort by node type

    Views + Panels = Flexability and Control

    Views and panels have granted me full control over those crazy designer dreams I need to implement.
    Specifically for the frontpage.
    The ability to roll your own layout and then fill it with views from a intuitive interface is awesome and I grant that to my "power" clients.
    Thanks for the great work and the support in IRC as well.
    In a collaborative OSS project it's success relies on the passion and professionalism of the lieutenants and not only the brilliance of the project lead.
    I think what's great about drupal is that people like you are so involved and giving which amazes me as to to the quality of the project I base my business upon.
    Thanks for the creativity, care, devotion and hard work.

    For all your work on the various mods. They are some of my faves.

    I've started working with v5 to relearn and Views rocks either for simple tweaking of stock "views" or custom work.

    Don't let the email bull get you down - as usual it's the squeeky wheel ruining things.
